NEGS is located in the city of Armidale, situated midway between Sydney and Brisbane on the picturesque New England Tablelands of NSW. Known as ‘The City For All Seasons’, Armidale’s climate is mild in summer and can be cold in winter.

Armidale has built a reputation of academic and cultural excellence. NEGS has extensive links with the University of New England, The Armidale School (NEGS’ brother school), and other schools in the city, as well as many cultural and sporting groups, and works hard to continue this fine tradition.
