NEGS competitive riders work towards selection in one of the high performance squads in eventing, dressage or show jumping. Students selected for these squads work with a team of specialist coaches who provide the support and instruction required to achieve at a high level in open competition. NEGS Equestrian has partnered with UNE Sport to develop tailored fitness programs for our high performance squad members that coupled with mental resilience, equine nutrition, fitness and goal setting provide students with a more holistic training experience.
Riders selected for the Eventing Squad are guided by eventing specialist and Senior Coach Annyka Overton and Eventing Specialist and Level 3 coach Sam Lyle.
Riders selected for the Show Jumping squad are guided by seasoned show jumping competitor Katie Clarke, Level 3 Show Jumping Coach and Mentor Ben Netterfield and Show Jumping specialist coach Amanda Madigan.
Riders selected for the Dressage squad are guided by seasoned show jumping competitor and Coaches Rachelle Hirst and Camilla Dawson who are assisted by Level 3 Coach and Mentor Tarsha Hammond and Olympian Brett Parberry throughout the year.
Riders selected for the Show Riding squad are guided by seasoned show riding instructors Rochelle Tubb and Henry Newell. They also have access to expert show riding instructors like Paul Austin at specialist clinics held throughout the year.
