Team in focus – Under 13 Indoor Hockey

Last week saw the first round of the Summer Indoor Hockey competition held at The Den. The Under 13 team took to the court, many for their first game of indoor ever! Nerves were present but so was enthusiasm and spirit. Blair Chalmers was vital in providing assistance to the girls and their improvement throughout the game was noticeable. Although coming away with a loss the girls were proud of their efforts and enjoyed their first hit out. Special mention goes to Polly whose speed and grit saw her moving all over the court to chase the ball down and to Beatrice, who in her first game, mastered the art of using the right side of the stick. We are all looking forward to a season of growth and enjoyment with this team.
