In Week 5, Year 5 and 6 students will be heading off to Canberra to undertaken an education tour of our national capital. Students will visit Parliament House, National Art Gallery, Questacon and the Australian War Memorial, amongst other attractions, and participate in a variety of educational programs with a focus on Australia’s history, culture, heritage and democracy. It’s sure to be a fantastic experience which fosters students’ educational, emotional and social development.
The Australian Government is contributing funding of $30 per student under the Parliaments and Civics Education rebate program towards these costs. The rebate is paid directly to the school upon completion of the excursion. The school has accounted for this rebate in the cost of your excursion.
