2018 Sport @ NEGS

In 2018 NEGS will continue to increase the sporting opportunities available to the students in both leisure and competitive sporting pursuits. NEGS also has two exciting opportunities available in 2018.

At the end of Term 1 NEGS will be taking a group of students to the Commonwealth Games. The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) will be the largest sporting event Australia will see this decade and the biggest sporting spectacular the Gold Coast has ever seen. As the first regional Australian city to ever host a Commonwealth Games, the Gold Coast will celebrate a great Games in a great city leaving great memories and great benefits for all.

During the Term 3 school holidays NEGS will be taking a Netball and Hockey team to Fiji to play against local schools and provide service in the communities. If students are interested in this trip please register your interest by sending an email to
