We are able to provide desirable student to teacher ratios across our classes, which are taught by well-qualified teachers who have a genuine passion for learning. NEGS’ flexible approach to learning and a varied curriculum mean girls can choose up to three Additional Studies Units in Year 9 and there is flexibility for students to change these electives in Year 10, if they choose.

For students requiring some extra support one of their electives may be chosen as Learning Support where the students work with a specialised teacher. The Talented Athlete Program course allows those eligible students to develop skills in their selected sport and have specialised Strength and Conditioning training delivered within the curriculum. We are also able to offer time within the curriculum for students with particular skills and interests (by application) to pursue these as an extra-curricular subject.
