Equestrian

NEGS has a long history of equestrian pursuits. The Riding School first opened in 1973, though the first horse at NEGS, Dusty, belonged to our founder Florence Green. Girls have gone on to  represent Australia in the Olympics. The important life skills and responsibility students develop whilst pursuing their passion for horse riding prepares and guides them to be their personal best.

Students taking part in the program have the opportunity of working with successful competitor and professional trainer in the industry, NEGS campdraft coach Gloria McCormack. Riders are also invited to request private lessons and horse schooling with Gloria.
