Boarding Supervisor (Casual)
NEGS is seeking warm, reliable Casual Boarding Supervisors to join our boarding team for Term 4, 2026. This role supports the pastoral care, wellbeing, and daily routines of our student boarders in a safe, home-like environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide active supervision and pastoral care to boarders in the boarding house.
- Oversee morning, study, meal, and evening routines.
- Assist with student attendance, record-keeping, and basic wellbeing needs.
- Support weekend and extracurricular boarding activities.
Shift Details & Schedule: Shifts available across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends during term time.
Key Selection Criteria
- Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable, supportive manner.
- Experience working with children or young adults in a school or residential setting.
Requirements:
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Current Driver’s License.

Stable Hand (Part-Time / Casual)
NEGS Equestrian Centre is seeking dedicated and experienced Stable Hands to join our equestrian team for Term 4, 2026. This role is integral to maintaining the highest standards of care and welfare for our horses while fostering a safe, supportive, and structured environment for our student riders.
Key Responsibilities
- Horse Care & Welfare: Carrying out daily feeding, watering, rugging, and health/welfare checks for all resident and student horses.
- Student Supervision: Assisting and supervising students during Equestrian Centre opening hours to ensure safety, proper handling, and adherence to school protocols around horses.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintaining clean stables, yards, tack rooms, and feed areas.
Shift Details & Schedule
We are looking for coverage across weekdays and weekends. Standard shift times generally fall within the following windows:
Weekdays:
- Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Weekends:
- Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 12:00 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Flexible shift patterns and split shifts can be discussed during the interview process to suit suitable candidates.
