The NEGS Equestrian Centre – located within the NEGS Livestock Precinct – brings together both competitive and recreational riders, equestrian professionals, family, friends, staff and coaches in a supportive and vibrant community.
The NEGS Equestrian Community supports all riders as they work towards achieving their equestrian focused goals with confidence, building strong industry based networks along the way. Through our training programs all riders are mentored towards achieving established goals both in riding and horse management across several disciplines from the elite rider through to the beginner. NEGS coaches are experienced and respected competitors and instructors who are dedicated to helping the girls and their horses achieve their goals.
More than just a riding school, NEGS provides quality agistment, a 1* X-Country course, two undercover Olympic sized arenas, polocrosse fields, a mechanical cow, picturesque grassy open riding areas, horse and pony schooling, grooming, horse management and health programs, Equi-skills, Ready Set Trot® and much more.
The NEGS Equestrian Centre is home to the New England Girls School Eventing, Show Jumping and Dressage High Performance Squads and the Show Riding team, Campdrafting, Cutting and Polocrosse Academies.
The NEGS One Day Event and Interschools competitions bring competitors from all over Australia to compete in the extensive facilities.
Regular clinics provide students and the community with opportunities to be trained by some of Australia’s most respected specialist coaches and clinicians such as Sam Lyle, Brett Parbery, Ben Netterfield, Tarsha Hammond, Amanda Madigan, Andrew Haddad, Grant Quigley, Haydon Turnbull and Warwick Lawrence just to name a few.
There really is “No place like NEGS” for all things equestrian.
