Receptionist and Clerical Officer
The School Receptionist and Clerical Officer plays a crucial and multi-faceted role at NEGS. As one of the first points of contact for NEGS families, as well as the wider community, it is vital that impressions gained both in person and via phone and email are favourable. NEGS strives to offer a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere throughout our school, and our Reception is no exception. This role requires a high level of customer service expertise, ensuring all members of the NEGS community receive polite, friendly and personalised service.
The role encompasses ongoing community engagement, assisting the Enrolments and Marketing team in the planning, managing and hosting of community events that bring attention to the school or celebrate various aspects of School life.
Clerical duties include assisting the Finance department with the accurate and timely entry of data, filing and record keeping as well as the effective management of school registers.
The ability to work both independently and as a contributing member of various teams is an essential part of this position.
EMPLOYMENT BASIS
Permanent, Full-Time (8:30am to 4:30pm), commencing 2025.

Senior coach (equestrian)
The NEGS Equestrian Centre is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Senior Equestrian Coach working with students ranging from Novice level to experienced competitive riders aged 12 to 18, as well as some adults.
The Senior Coach provides vital leadership of the Junior coaching team through the provision of mentoring, professional development and modelling of quality coaching. Quality training and mentoring for NEGS students and the New England equestrian community is key to the success of this role.
The remuneration package can include accommodation and a stable/paddock for an agreed number of horses.
Professional development through external coaches and clinicians as well as an opportunity to gain further training and education is offered.

Duty Staff (Boarding House)
NEGS is proud to offer, a lively, diverse and nurturing environment where living at school presents opportunities for our boarding students to immerse themselves in a wide variety of on-campus, co & extra-curricular activities whilst completing their studies.
Boarding Duty Staff play a vital role in the lives of the boarding students and in the smooth functioning of the House. You must be reliable with exemplary values and have an avid interest in the welfare of young people. Boarding Duty Staff oversee the pastoral care (the physical, emotional, spiritual and academic well-being) offered to the girls. We ask that you maintain an active interest in their care and well-being, whilst, maintaining professional and pastoral contact with Boarders’ Parents/Caregivers.
Boarding Duty Staff are directly responsible to the Head of House, who, alongside the Head of Boarding, supports all duty staff in fulfilling their roles to the best of their ability and in accordance with school policies and procedures. Although prior experience will be an advantage, adequate training will be provided in all aspects of Pastoral Care here at NEGS.
The conduct of an efficient and effective residential school is underpinned by the quality of the pastoral care system which is implemented by the boarding duty staff. Boarding Duty Staff are integral to the welfare of our boarding community and the efficiency of our pastoral care program. The Boarding Duty Staff is directly responsible to the Head of Boarding. Both the Head of Boarding and the Head of House are available to support all boarding duty staff in fulfilling their roles to the best of their ability and in accordance with school policies and procedures.
