Why This Role Matters
NEGS has momentum. Enrolments are up. The strategy is clear. What’s needed now is a commercially astute growth leader who can turn that momentum into sustained competitive advantage.
This isn’t a marketing support role. It’s a senior strategic position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer with direct ownership of the enrolment pipeline, conversion outcomes, and revenue growth targets.

- Design and deliver Principal Tour programs and key stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Identify and pursue untapped market opportunities, particularly in boarding
Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with COO, Principal and Executive on growth, brand, and strategic alignment
- Set targets, track metrics, and report on conversion performance
- Lead enrolment forecasting and capacity planning
Who Will Succeed
You’re a growth professional who understands that enrolments are won through relationships, credibility, and strategic discipline.
Essential:
- 5+ years in senior sales, business development, or growth leadership with proven revenue/enrolment outcomes
- Experience in education, premium services, or consultative sales environments
- Demonstrated success managing complex pipelines using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Ability to work with targets, metrics, and conversion analytics while maintaining a values-driven approach
- Polished communication skills — you represent the school to families making $100k+ educational decisions
- Willingness to travel regularly (overnight stays required for expos and market visits)
Highly Desirable:
- Experience in the Australian independent school sector
- Boarding school enrolment or student recruitment background
- Understanding of international student pathways and regional markets
Non-negotiables:
- Strategic thinker who executes with discipline
- Relationship builder with commercial instincts
- Self-starter who thrives on accountability and performance metrics
What’s On Offer
- Senior leadership role with genuine strategic influence
- Competitive remuneration package (commensurate with experience)
- Staff tuition fee discounts (significant value for families)
- Professional development investment
- On-site fitness center access + discounted classes
- On-campus accommodation available (subject to availability)
