At NEGS Boarding School, we provide a supportive and inclusive environment for students from Year 5 to Year 12, where they develop independence, resilience, and lifelong friendships. Our boarding program is designed to feel like a second family, offering personalised care and guidance to help each student thrive academically and socially. Located in the heart of Armidale, our boarding facilities welcomes students from towns and cities across Australia. We offer full-time, weekly and casual boarding. Day students can extend their day, and book an afternoon which includes afternoon tea, dinner and prep, as well as access to on-campus facilities from after school until the conclusion of prep.

We are proud to have Mrs. Kassy Cassidy as our Head of Boarding. Mrs. Cassidy previously served as the Head of House for the White House and has a deep connection to NEGS as an alumna, a past parent, and a current parent of boarders. This unique perspective equips her with invaluable insight into the needs and concerns of our boarding students and their families.
With her dedication and experience, Mrs. Cassidy continues to foster a collaborative culture, strengthen the bonds between our day school and boarding community, and build meaningful relationships with boarding families. Her ongoing commitment ensures a positive and supportive environment for all at NEGS.
